With a faculty advisor and administrative support, three selected trainees organize the Institute’s fall symposium, the Future of Malaria Research. The conference offers oral and poster presentation opportunities for unestablished scientists. The event typically takes place at the Johns Hopkins Montgomery Country Campus in Rockville, Maryland prior to the large international Annual Meeting of the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (ASTMH) taking place in Maryland on Wednesday, November 20 through Sunday, November 24.
