A hybrid symposium highlighting early career and emerging malaria researchers


Registration deadline for in-person participation, at the Bloomberg School of Public Health, is October 7th. Registration for virtual participation will remain open.


Submit an abstract here for oral, poster, and lightning presentation consideration by September 20th.

The Johns Hopkins Malaria Research Institute will host the 8th Future of Malaria Research Symposium on Friday, October 28, prior to the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene’s annual meeting. Students and postdoctoral researchers are organizing this hybrid meeting for participation via Zoom and in person at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. Organizers will welcome abstracts for presentation (oral, poster, or lightning) consideration until September 20th.

Keynote addresses will be delivered in person, selected oral presentations talks will be delivered either in-person or virtually; all are accessible to in-person and virtual attendees.  
A poster session and lunch will be limited to in-person engagement; lightning talks will be hosted virtually for those who have posters accepted and cannot attend in person.
