Vector Encounter is a two-day gathering to discuss the biology of arthropod disease vectors, hosted by the Johns Hopkins Malaria Research Institute in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. During this engaging get-together, investigators present their lab's latest vector research through chalk-talks emphasizing ideas and latest discoveries. Presentations are limited to one investigator per lab, by the PI or a team member. Non-PIs can present research in lightning talk format in a breakout session; more than one lab member can present.
REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT
Each participant must register online and create a guest account. You will be asked for a one-time log-in; at account prompt, select "GUEST". After registering, you will be asked to pay by the method you select below.
Payment Required to attend event
The registration fee is $60 and includes two light breakfasts, two lunches and four snacks over the two-day event. Please register by June 1, 2023.
Payment Required for dinner (optional)
The Thursday evening crab dinner at Captain James Landing Restaurant has a subsidized cost of $50. Crabs can be substituted for vegetarian options during registration. Please pay by June 1, 2023.
