Core Facilities
The JHMRI comprises state-of-the-art core facilities that provide research support to affiliated groups.
- Insectary Core Facility
The Insectary Core Facility is dedicated to the production of mosquitoes for research purposes. - Parasitology Core Facility
The Parasitology Core Facility supports a variety of projects that focus on the parasite’s interactions with the mosquito vector and human host, and other biological processes that are associated with its capacity to transmit and infect. - Spatial Sciences Core
The Environmental Surveillance Core provides computing and statistical infrastructure and analysis expertise to define relationships between environmental conditions and the transmission of infectious diseases. - MMI Genomic Analysis and Sequencing Facility
The MMI Genomic Analysis and Sequencing Facility provides expertise and service while coordinating with technical support for customized assistance and adaptation to specific project needs. - Imaging and Microscopy Core Facility
The imaging and microscopy core facility provides advanced instrumentation for the digital documentation of everything from macromolecules to cells and tissues.
